SMU Grow is an initiative by Singapore Management University that encourages staff, faculty and students to participate in urban farming on campus, learn about sustainability and make a positive change to the community. We’re big fans of the values behind SMU Grow and wanted to get involved!
We asked ourselves how we could leverage on tech to share their good work with more people. A website was a good start. We then wanted to get more ‘share-worthy’ moments at their events, so we designed stickers and a couple of selfie frames with the hashtag #smugrow. Physical goodies that translate to digital buzz! The little plant hairband was just us having fun with it. We also set up a few cameras to monitor the SMU Grow plot on days where seeds were being planted. The events were live-streamed on the website to allow people to peek at what was happening without having to actually be there. Go digital!
